The 1″ Ti high frequency element is symmetrically positioned in front of and between the 4 ” low frequency drivers by the 4.2’s three-dimensional elliptic baffle, which also has a coherent coverage waveguide.

By carefully arranging, splaying, and shaping the LF units by 10°, the resultant line array may manage coverage. Physically “shadowing” the LF transducers from one another throughout the spectrum where they would typically produce interference is how lobing is managed. 

Compared to other varieties, Evid 4.2 speakers’ mounting mechanism offers a wider range of targeting angles in both horizontal and vertical planes. For both indoor and outdoor applications needing high-quality sound, the Evid white is an incredibly small full range loudspeaker that is perfect. When used in background or foreground music systems for dining establishments, bars, patios, retail spaces, and other settings, its size and form make it almost undetectable.

With a coherent coverage waveguide in front of and between the 4″ low frequency drivers, the 4.2’s three-dimensional elliptic baffle symmetrically positions the 1″ Ti high frequency element. Coverage is controlled by the resultant line array thanks to the precise positioning, shape, and 10° splaying of the lf units. 

To control lobing, the LF transducers are physically “shadowed” from one another throughout the spectrum where interference would typically occur. More targeting angles in both horizontal and vertical planes are available with the Evid 4.2 speakers mounting system than with other kinds. In addition to a concealed leash for safety, the curving grille has built-in weather protection.

Both the high frequency and low frequency transducers in the network must have a passive limiter.

The following performance requirements must be fulfilled by the Evid white loudspeaker system:

• pressure sensitivity: 89 dB at one watt, 200 Hz – 10 kHz at one meter; 
• power handling: 200 watts of EIA RS-426A continuous pink noise (6 dB crest factor); frequency response: 65 Hz – 20 kHz (-10 dB from rated sensitivity); 
• impedance: 8 ohms nominal, 6 ohms minimum in Bosch EVID 4.2T Loudspeakers.
• A waveguide that is driven by a high frequency transducer will uniformly span 120° horizontally and 80° vertically. 
• Acrylic butyl styrene will be used to mold the enclosure.
