How to operate Logitech Meetup Camera

It is best to position your camera as near to eye level as possible before using it. The best installation usually occurs from underneath the display.

Placement

  • First place your logitech camera on a table or shelf near the monitor
  • Connect the cables
  • Mount on the wall, and this includes two main things.
    • First attach the bracket to the wall and consider using the appropriate type of screws for your wall type
    • Second attach the camera to the bracket
  • Mount to the TV: You can find more about TV mount brackets here

Connection

The connection section, where you may connect, is the second part of the Logitech Meetup Camera User’s Guide. Whether your team members bring a laptop to conduct the meeting or you want to use a dedicated computer in the space, MeetUp works the same way.

  1. First plug MeetUp into power
  2. Connect the USB cable from MeetUp to the computer
  3. Connect the TV to the computer

Make MeetUp the default Device

Make sure that in your video conferencing apps, MeetUp is selected as the speaker, camera, and microphone. For further details on how to accomplish this, please refer to the application supporting materials.

Take note that FullHD video (up to 1080p) can be supported by the USB 2.0 cable that comes with MeetUp. It is recommended to utilize a USB 3.0 cable (not supplied) if you intend to use 4k video.

Pairing MeetUp to a Bluetooth Device

As part of Logitech MeetUp Camera User’s Guide, the MeetUp may be used for audio calls if it is connected to a Bluetooth device. These few steps will link your Bluetooth device with MeetUp:

  1. Hold down the remote control’s Bluetooth button until a blue light begins to flash close to the camera lens.
  2. Select “Logitech MeetUp” when your phone is in Bluetooth connection mode.

You may now make audio calls using MeetUp. After connecting, pressing the remote’s Bluetooth button will unpair the device—it will remain “paired,” but not “connected.”

The last linked device in range can be reconnected by pressing it once more.

Pairing the Remote Control to the Camera

At the manufacturer, your remote control and camera are connected. But if you have to link a remote with the camera (for example, to replace a misplaced remote), follow these steps:

  1. Press and hold the button on the back of the camera until the LED flashes blue.
  2. Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the remote for 10 seconds to place it in pairing mode.
  3. Once the remote and camera are paired the LED will stop flashing.
  4. If the pairing fails, the LEDs will keep flashing. Start from step 2 and repeat.
